Job description

We are looking for a professional Head Chef to amaze the guests with excellent cooking according to the Executive Beefbar chef’s recipes and specifications. Your work will be an important factor to the client experience. The ultimate goal is to expand our clientele and reputation to ensure long-term success.

Responsibilities

Responsible for the overall success of the daily kitchen operation. Exhibits culinary talents by personally performing tasks while leading the associates and managing all food related functions. Works to continually improve guest and associate satisfaction while maximizing the financial performance in all areas of responsibility. Supervises all kitchen areas to ensure a consistent, high quality product is produced. Responsible for guiding and developing staff including direct reports. Must ensure sanitation and food standards are achieved. Areas of responsibility comprise overseeing all food preparation areas (e.g. 3 restaurants, café, bar and associate food) and all support areas.

 

Additionally you will monitor the food inventory on a monthly basis, maintaining proper control of orders and purchases and ensuring that all deliveries are received and handled efficiently and in line with hotel standards. You will review the food cost analysis on a daily basis to ensure that it is in line with the budget, with the goal of securing profit margins while maintaining the Corporate image of the Company at all times. You will also oversee the cleanliness and hygiene of all kitchen spaces and procedures.

 

You are required to have 5-6 years of experience in this role preferably in luxury environment, fluent English knowledge both orally and in writing, outstanding communication and organizational skills, people oriented personality and creative, flexible approach.
